The stage is set for this year’s Kenya Secondary Schools’ Sports Association, KSSSA, national term two games in Kisii. Kisii school and Cardinal Otunga will play host to the soccer matches with Gusii stadium also slated for others.
Nyanza’s new kids on the block, Alara Girls, lead the pack in pool A alongside Coast’s Kombani, Dagoretti Mixed (Nairobi) and St. Joseph’s Girls from theย Rift Valley.

Butere girls vs Nyakach girls match preview.
2023 national champions will play against Nyanza region runners up Nyakach girls in their first match in kisii.
Butere comes to this match having conceded only 2 goals from zonals to regional games.
The Red commandos welcomes back their U 17 stars who missed out in previous matches due to injuries,U17 duo of Valencia Joyangela (striker) and Brenda Nekesa(Defender) are all fit and ready to play for the badge.
Lorna Faith, Clotildah Auma, Halima Imbachi, Judith Nandwa,Vidah Okeyo,Diana Anyango and Christine Adhiambo, are in good shape and ready to prove to the world why they are considered the best in the country.
On the other hand Nyakach comes to this year’s KSSSA games as runners up after receiving a beating of their life from unknown Alara girls.
Nyakach girls will miss the services of up to 4 players who took them to the national level after Nyanza RDE confirmation that they were ineligible to play in KSSSA games.
The last time Red commandos and plateau Queens met was last year in Talanta Hela national final where Plateaus were representing kisumu county and Red commandos were representing Busia county.The match ended 3-1 in favour of Busia county.
